Initial Course for Mediators | November 2025 Edition

The Conciliation Body Concordia et Ius srl, registered at no. 809 in the Register of Conciliation Bodies held by the Ministry of Justice, pursuant to Legislative Decree 28/2010 and subsequent amendments and additions, and also registered at no. 427 in the List of Mediator Training Institutions accredited by the same Ministry, offers the Advanced Training Course for Civil and Commercial Mediators. This training opportunity meets the requirements of Ministerial Decree no. 150 of October 24, 2023, for those wishing to acquire high-level skills in the mediation sector.

Course Objectives

• To provide practical and theoretical skills to operate as a civil and commercial mediator.
• Offer a training program that complies with ministerial and regulatory standards.
• Enable participants to register in the Register of Accredited Mediators.

Course structure and duration

For Lawyers

For Trainee Lawyers

For Law Graduates (Master's or Single-Cycle):

Total duration: 84 hours.

Theoretical part: 40 hours (28 hours remote 12 hours in person).

Practical part: 40 hours (24 hours in presence 16 hours of simulation).

Final assessment: 4 hours in attendance (model verification and practical simulation).

For graduates in other disciplines and professionals with a three-year degree:

Total duration: 94 hours (80 hours of basic course 14 hours of legal in-depth study).

Legal in-depth study: 14 hours (10 hours remote 4 hours in person).

Final assessment: Written and oral, lasting at least 2 hours.

Practical internship

At the end of the course, participants will be able to complete an internship, working alongside a mediator, in ten mediations at the Concordia et Ius office.

Certification and Certificate

At the end of the course, a Certificate of Participation with qualifying effect will be issued.
